Tibet University

Tibet University, a national "Double First-Class" university, is the only comprehensive university in the Tibet Autonomous Region. Located in Lhasa, the university has approximately 20,000 students, including around 200 international students, boasting an excellent student-to-faculty ratio. There are approximately 1,800 faculty and staff members, with over 1,200 full-time teachers. The university has 10 doctoral degree programs in distinctive fields such as ethnology and ecology, demonstrating strong research capabilities. The total campus area is approximately 1,500 mu, with an annual budget between 1 and 1.5 billion RMB, providing robust support for teaching and research.
